Voorhees Chebor takes Week 7 HBCUAC Runner and Freshman of the Week
NEW ORLEANS - October 14, 2025 - Voorhees University freshman Rena Chebor wins Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) Women's Cross Country Runner and Freshman of the Week. She was recognized for her performance between October 6-12, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Chebor finished the Warhawk Invitational five-kilometer race in 22:29.7, running at a 7:14 mile-pace. Her time was 51st out of 128 athletes from NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA institutions. Chebor and her teammates will compete at the 2025 HBCUAC Cross Country Championship on Friday at Oakville Indian Mounds Cross Country Course in Decatur, Ala.

About the HBCU Athletic Conference
The HBCU Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) is the only HBCU conference in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
