Dillard's Davison, Flowers claim Week 5 Women's Cross Country Awards
NEW ORLEANS - September 30, 2025 - Dillard University's Karlise Davison garners Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week. Nhaydia Flowers earns Freshman of the Week. The women were recognized for their performance between September 22-28, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Davison led the Bleu Devils with a time of 21:45.70 in the Nicholls Cross Country Invitational five-kilometer race. She finished in the top half of the 56-women field, which featured runners from NCAA and NAIA institutions. This is her fourth weekly honor.
Flowers followed with a time of 23:57.20. This her third career meet and first 5K race.

The HBCU Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) is the only HBCU conference in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
