Tougaloo's Miller, Wiley's Womack earn Week 2 HBCUAC Women's Cross Country Honors
NEW ORLEANS - September 9, 2025 - Tougaloo College's Herlancia Miller garners Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week. Wiley University's Samaera Womack takes home Freshman of the Week. The women were honored for their performances between September 1-7, the conference announced Tuesday.
Miller finished The Opener hosted by Mississippi College in 25:00.09. She placed 58th out of 96 runners on the five-kilometer course.
Womack made her collegiate debut at the University of Texas at Tyler's Season Opener. She led the team with a time of 27:02 in the five-kilometer course.

About the HBCU Athletic Conference
The HBCU Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) is the only HBCU conference in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
