Voorhees University's Ducre, McFadden take Week 7 HBCUAC Women's Track and Field Weekly Awards
NEW ORLEANS - April 22, 2025 - Voorhees University women's track and field athlete Kaya Ducre claims Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week and Destiny McFadden earns Field Athlete of the Week. The women were recognized for their performances between April 14-20, the conference announced Tuesday.
Ducre competed in the 200-meter dash at the Sharonda Coleman Singleton Classic on Saturday. She competed against athletes mostly from National Collegiate Athletic Association Schools.
McFadden threw 9.58 meters in the shot put which topped seven athletes, mostly from NCAA schools.

About HBCU Athletic Conference
The HBCU Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) is the only HBCU conference in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
