Talladega duo, Huston-Tillotson, Wiley garner Week 7 HBCUAC Women's Soccer Awards
NEW ORLEANS - October 14, 2025 - Talladega College forward Annalisa Vincent secures Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) Offensive Player of the Week. Mikayla Stutts earns Freshman of the Week. Huston-Tillotson University goalkeeper Juliet Morales-Martinez captures Defensive Player of the Week. Wiley University striker Alondra Limon takes Newcomer of the Week. The women were recognized for their performance between October 6-12, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Vincent scored 19 goals and recorded six assists in blowout victories over Oakwood University (25-0) and Tougaloo College (20-0). Twenty-three of her 30 shots were on goal. She leads the conference in goals, points and shots.
Morales-Martinez, the Preseason HBCUAC Goalkeeper of the Year, recorded her first career shutout, leading the Rams to a 1-0 victory in their conference opener against Paul Quinn College on Thursday. She stopped two shots.
Stutts provided two goals and an assist in the Tornadoes' victories over Oakwood and Tougaloo. The wins give Talladega sole possession of first in the HBCUAC East Division.
Limon scored her third goal of the season and recorded an assist in Wiley's 11-0 rout over Oakwood on Saturday. She recorded four shots with two on goal.

About the HBCU Athletic Conference
The HBCU Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) is the only HBCU conference in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The HBCUAC membership includes Dillard University (LA), Fisk University (TN), Huston-Tillotson University (TX), Oakwood University (AL), Paul Quinn College (TX), Philander Smith University (AR), Rust College (MS), Southern University at New Orleans (LA), Stillman College (AL), Talladega College (AL), Tougaloo College (MS), University of the Virgin Islands (St. Thomas), Voorhees University (SC), Wilberforce University (OH), and Wiley University (TX).
