Oakwood’s Keys, Stillman’s Minter take home HBCUAC WBB Awards
NEW ORLEANS - November 4, 2024 - Oakwood University's Saniya Keys wins Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference Offensive, Defensive and Freshman of the Week. Stillman College's Jaida Minter garners Newcomer of the Week for their performance from October 28-November 3.
Keys averaged 26 points and 17.5 rebounds per game in two contests last week. She put up 30 points and 18 rebounds to lead Oakwood to their first victory over Washington Adventist University on Saturday. For the week, Key shot 57.6 percent from the field. She leads the conference in points and rebounds per game.
Minter averaged 15 points, 3.5 rebounds and three assists per game in two contests. Her 13 points, four assists and three rebounds helped Stillman defeat Faulkner University for its first win of the 2024-25 season. Minter is tied for sixth in the conference in points per game and seventh in assists per game.

About HBCU Athletic Conference
The HBCU Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) is the only HBCU conference in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
