Wiley's Jackson takes Week 5 HBCUAC Men's Cross Country Honors
NEW ORLEANS - September 30, 2025 - Wiley University freshman Ryan Jackson Jr. wins Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) Runner and Freshman of the Week. He was honored for his performance between September 22-28, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Jackson surpassed his personal best by over seven minutes, running 28:15 on the eight-kilometer course at the Hill Cross Country Classic. His time ranks as the top 8K time in the HBCUAC. This was Jackson's fourth race of the season.

About the HBCU Athletic Conference
The HBCU Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) is the only HBCU conference in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
